New Preprint Released
Our new preprint, “Graph-Based Kirchhoff Modeling of Non-Ohmic Electron Transport in Self-Assembled Nanonecklace Networks”, is now available on arXiv!
In this work, Obed Issakah developed a graph-based computational framework to model electron transport in gold nanonecklace networks, treating the self-assembled structures as graphs with junctions as nodes and conducting segments as edges. The solver identifies active nodes, conducting pathways, electrical potentials, and currents across applied voltages, showing that the nonlinear current-voltage response arises from the collective, staggered activation of threshold junctions and voltage-driven percolation. The model establishes a design tool for engineering these nanoscale devices for applications such as single-electron switching and chemical sensing.
